The Senior Vice President, Commercial Markets oversees sales and client relationship management across the organizations commercial health plan marketplace. This role includes responsibilities in the Blue ASO and fully insured markets, with a focus on select service coordination and collaboration with government programs. Due to a recent merger, the company is strategically pivoting towards directly engaging with employer markets, highlighting the importance of adapting to evolving market needs. Recognizing the crucial nature of the company’s market presentation, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a coherent go-to-market strategy for the business. This position will be a key influencer and contributor in establishing and implementing a continued action plan for client growth, retention, and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership, business management experience, leading operations of a managed care and/or health services company. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of the pharmacy function. Additionally, candidates with National Accounts experience who understand the nuances of partnering with consultants, brokers and TPA’s are highly desired. They must have 10 years of progressive leadership/people management experience for a commercial sales and client management function. A key requirement is an innovative mindset with a proven history of continuously seeking and implementing novel solutions to enhance and improve sales and service operations. The candidate must be adept at challenging the status quo and spearheading transformative changes within the organization.
