Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Leader with expertise in the benefits industry, healthcare, and large group sales. This role involves building and leading a high-performing sales team with strong relationships among brokers, consultants, employers, and other key stakeholders. They will be responsible for growing revenue channels, guiding the team in leveraging the company’s suite of services – including benefits administration, healthcare navigation and voluntary benefits – and overseeing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to client handoff. Additionally, this role has the added responsibility of maintaining Benefits Governance for clients and businesses.
 

The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of sales leadership in employee benefits with expertise in healthcare, voluntary benefits, and large-group sales. Strong experience in building high-performance teams focused on selling comprehensive benefit solutions through brokers to clients with 250-25,000 employees is essential. Proven ability to drive growth in fast-paced environments, develop effective sales strategies, and engage C-level clients is required. Expertise with consultative sales, advanced methodologies like the Challenger Sales Model, and a strong understanding of benefits compliance are key. Success in competitive mid-market positioning is highly valued.
