Privately Held Industrial Real Estate Company
The Chief Financial Officer will lead a team of accounting and finance professionals for the company’s Chicago office. With an eye toward growth, consistency, and generating returns, the CFO must be accustomed to and comfortable with working in a founder-led, entrepreneurial environment that is heavily transaction-oriented. This position will oversee all deadlines, projects, funds, banking relationships, and investors comprising the company. With a demonstrated successful track record over the past five years across eight different states, the company is looking for continued enhancements to its finance and accounting process and procedures with a rigor on par with public reporting, allowing for seamless communication both internally and externally across the entire portfolio.
The successful candidate will have a track record of management and leadership for an accounting and finance team who thrives on the capital markets side of real estate when it comes to fund management, banking relationships, forecasting and marketing. This executive will bring a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in real estate finance and accounting, managing teams of various sizes and experience sitting at the leadership table with the ability to lead teams, partner across the organization and bring cohesion to the organization. Team building skills are critical, as is the ability to evaluate the current state and what additional resources are necessary to complement and enhance the existing team.
