Multi-Billion Dollar Private Equity Firm

Position Summary:

The private equity Managing Director will collaborate with the firm’s portfolio companies to drive growth and create value. This role involves strategic operating advice and hands-on support to help manufacturing portcos scale operations, improve efficiency, and navigate challenges while maintaining strong communication with the executive team. The ideal candidate should be well versed in Lean and Six Sigma principles, have experience leading multi-site manufacturing organizations and possess a background with P&L responsibility across multiple organizations. Additionally, they will support board initiatives and be involved in operational due diligence for acquisition targets.
 

Our placement brings over 25 years of experience in operations, supply chain, and operational excellence, with a focus on leading transformational change to accelerate profitable growth, improve cost structures, and build leadership teams. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer, where he held global responsibilities for manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and new product development. He began his career at General Electric and later held leadership roles at Danaher and Sypris Solutions. He is a graduate of the Operations Management Leadership Program and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
