The Vice President of Group Life & Disability will be a pivotal member of the organization, responsible for setting the direction for a new portfolio of group products that prioritize the needs and experience of a diverse customer base and fueling the company’s growth. This role involves developing a long-term product roadmap, overseeing new product development and managing in-force products to align with the company’s goals and market needs, driving a competitive advantage to the business’s strategic objectives. This individual will work closely across various business functions, including sales, marketing, actuarial, legal, compliance, information technology and risk management.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience across product development, product management and implementation. In addition, this candidate will have over five years of group-term life and disability experience. This individual should possess a unique combination of strong leadership skills, business acumen, and an innovative mindset geared toward emerging markets. They should thrive on innovation, collaboration and empathy-driven problem solving to design, develop and launch new products across the organization.
