Position Summary:

The Head of Government Pharmacy is a dynamic leadership position tasked with leading teams in the Medicare Segment with plans for expansion into other Government Segments. This individual will own key goals for the organization including Cost of Care and Quality portfolio of programs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in team leadership, product development, Utilization Management, Cost of Care, and quality strategies to ensure government products comply with standards and meet stakeholder needs.

He is a highly accomplished executive with a proven track record in strategic planning, healthcare P&L management, operational excellence, business unit turn-arounds and all elements of marketing including product development, market research, customer segmentation, competitive intelligence, brand management, customer retention and marketing communications. He is passionate about developing high performing teams in the development and deployment of differentiable action oriented strategies that enable organizations to achieve success. He most recently served as President, Government Pharmacy Programs for a prominent healthcare company.
