The Chief Customer Officer, Meals & Beverages, will lead the unit’s sales function across all the categories and will be accountable for the delivery of top line revenue growth. They will be responsible for sales and customer strategy, sales execution, trade marketing, sales planning and operations, category management and customer penetration. This individual is expected to be a full executive team member, providing their input on all relevant business matters, not just those associated with the sales function.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished CPG sales professional with strong strategic skills and a proven track record of delivering results in a “best-in-class” CPG sales organization. They should have strong commercial/business acumen, understand how to strategically leverage customer relationships and be well-versed in the fundamentals and importance of trade and channel strategy, sales force optimization, and shopper insights. Experience working across different lines of business (LOBs) and within a matrix organization will be crucial. Additionally, the capability for this executive to lead a large P&L in the future is essential.
