Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President, R&D will be responsible for all product and packaging development, research, nutrition, quality, food safety and scientific affairs activities globally. This individual will work closely with external global resources to appropriately partner for new technologies, product concepts, trends, packaging technologies, and health and nutrition issues and through external contacts within the industry.
The Senior Vice Presdient, R&D will partner closely with Category Presidents and cross functional peers to drive innovation and align R&D to the business strategy to continue global growth and expansion. This executive will partner with the Leadership Team to direct, organize, plan and control the pipeline of innovation projects, ensuring the appropriate balance of base business renovation, distortion of resources, acceleration of white space and transformative breakthrough projects are delivered to support the achievement of growth and innovation objectives.
The successful candidate will effectively engage the Leadership Team, Category Presidents and commercial teams in the vision for the function; refine the process for resource prioritization through the Growth Council and define the role of the senior management team within it.
